Are there any known counterfeits in Iraqi coins, and if so, which coins. I have two Iraqi Army anniversary 500 Fil coins that are suspect. Are any known, do I need to keep looking for a genuine one, or is this an emergency issue? The ones I have are nickel-plated, soft, heavy metal.

I don't know, but I suggest you put this query on the USA forum, because:

1) You are in the USA
2) Hardly anybody reads this UK forum (it is not the English-speaking forum as you have probably assumed, although obviously there should be just one English-speaking forum).

The most read forum is the French one, but you are not allowed to put your question on there unless it is in French.
